Padparadscha Sapphire

Padparadscha takes its name from the Sinhalese word for the lotus blossom, and the colour it describes is genuinely hard to put into words: a pink and an orange held in balance, neither one winning.

It is the rarest colour variety of sapphire and the only one named in Sinhala. Almost all of the world's supply comes from Sri Lanka. Every stone we list over 1 carat ships with an independent report confirming the colour call.
